Christmas Time is Here and So is the Cold

That’s right, it is finally December! Time for the Christmas season, Christmas music, finals (shudder), and the cold. That’s right, its going to get really cold, really fast.

I love winter, to an extent. Up until about the middle of January, I really love the snow and all of the fun it provides. When it reaches the middle of January, I get really sick of the snow and just want it all to end. It gets frustrating and disappointing when I have to wait another month and half (or more) for it to start getting warm again.

Well, its the first of December, and as such, its time to pull out the Christmas music and the Christmas Pandora radio station. Just this morning, I listened to one of my favorite Christmas albums: an album that takes well-known Christmas songs and throws them together with just classic and well known jazz songs. It is an awesome album that is well worth looking into if you get the chance. Another Christmas album that I really enjoy is the Charlie Brown Christmas special soundtrack. There’s just something about listening to smooth jazz Christmas music and the nostalgia that makes it such a great album.

Christmas time will also be great for going home and spending time with my family. Thanksgiving break just wasn’t long enough… Well, guess I have something to look forward too after finals.

As with Christmas time, it also means that I am getting ever closer to being done with this semester of college. Don’t get me wrong, I love most of my classes, but I can’t wait to start a new schedule and meet new people. Next semester will probably be harder than this one, but that’s how college goes, right? It just gets harder and harder until you finally graduate and move on with your life. I’m excited.

Well, that’s pretty much it for today. Nothing super exciting going on, other than building an audio¬†amplifier¬†for electronics, and continuing to study for the exams. Hooray… Until next time, later!

An audio amp? Cool, what kind? In my electronics class my friend and I are currently building a FM radio broadcaster for the school (they bought it for the driving range, but it’s not pre-assembled so we get to put it together).

They also got one of those broadcast amps that are illegal without a license. I don’t think they knew what they were doing when they ordered this stuff. Good luck with the exams by the way.

@PawnStar (not sure how this comment system works right now, lol)

Anyway, we were given some integrated circuits and were basically told to follow directions to make our own amplifier. Its a little hard to explain in text, so next time I see you, I’ll let you know.

I don’t think you need to put the “@David”, WordPress is smarter than that.
