So, in case you didn’t know, I just spent a week at Disneyland with my family last month. We had loads of fun and I learned a lot about the park and the people that go there. For a brief rundown of my adventures, head inside this here post. I have some articles that I’ll be writing soon about how to be successful in Disneyland, as there were many things that make the trip super enjoyable.
Recently, I had the opportunity to go renew my driver’s license at our local DMV as my old license would expire shortly before I returned to the states from my LDS mission. The short version of what happened is basically that I couldn’t get a space in my last name even though all of my legal documents spell my name correctly. The system simply refused to allow a space. Let me tell you about our adventure.
Yes, I am recovering from a cold. I really quite despise them.
On Saturday, my sister and I went and planted the seeds necessary for our family garden which we have in our awesome backyard. After cleaning up the yard, we proceeded to mix up the soil, re-grid the boxes, and proceed to plant the seeds. It was quite the adventure of planting and watering.
So, it has been a few weeks now since the end of the semester, and I can proudly say that I am doing well and being rather productive. I’ve got my job back at Burbidge & White as a runner. It is loads of fun, and is a very good job to have for the summer before I head out on my mission. It is a great thing to have a job for the summer so that I don’t just waste my time away doing nothing.
Well, I did it. I made it through my hardest semester of school yet. It was a pretty challenging time for me, but I was able to power through the last few weeks of school. As I predicted, exams were very hard and took a lot of time. For my physics 123 exam, I was in the testing center for 3 hours and 15 minutes working as hard and as fast as I could. It was a very challenging test, but I feel that I did pretty well given the amount of time it took me to take the test. The other tests weren’t quite as challenging, but they posed a challenge as well. College work sucks…
So today I had to make up a physics lab due to my foot acting all strange like last week. This lab is probably one of the funnest that we’ve done all semester. We had 2 speakers: a tweeter and a woofer. The tweeter is a small speaker built for a higher frequency range and can handle that range very well with little interference and damaging. The woofer is pretty much like a sub woofer, but built for higher frequencies that we can actually hear and not feel.
